Kansas Youth Leadership Forum: Virtual 2020
Come and build your leadership skills and potential through workshops, consulting groups, inspirational speakers and more. In addition, the 2021 State 4-H Youth Leadership Council will be elected at KYLF.

Citizenship in Action: February 17-18, 2019
Would you like to have more influence in laws and rules that affect your life? Then you’ll want to go to Kansas 4-H Citizenship in Action! This two day event is sponsored by the State 4-H Youth Leadership Council. The purpose of the event is for Kansas youth to learn how the state legislative process works and how their voice and participation in decision-making can make a difference in their local communities. The legislative visit will not only familiarize youth with the capitol building, but will also show them how they can affect the legislative process.
Discovery Days: May 27 - May 29, 2020
Are You Ready for Discovery Days? Put May 27 - May 29, 2020 on your calendar to be in Manhattan on the K-State campus. Discovery Days offers classes and tours about 4-H projects, careers, hobbies, community service and more! You can also share your talents in the Talent Show. Are you ready to dance? Are you ready for some Call Hall ice cream? Are you ready for some great speakers and Discovery Days Night Live and all the other possibilities in your future? Join us now to enjoy this event this summer!

Lakeside Camp: June 10-11, 2020
Camp Lakeside takes place at Lake Scott State Park as a single overnight camp for youth ages 7-9 and counselors ages 14-18. Lakeside offers a variety of activities including archery, rafting, swimming, crafts, hiking, fishing, campfire, and more. Cost to attend: $80 (4-H Members) OR $81 (Non 4-H Members).

Heart of Kansas Camp: June 13-16, 2020
The Heart of Kansas camp takes place at the Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City. It provides youth the opportunity to take part in a great camping experience full of different activities such as swimming, fishing, crafts, horseback riding, dance, canoeing, and much more to come for this coming year. HOK is for youth ages 9-14 and counselors ages 15-18. Cost to attend: $200 for all campers.

Camp Counselor Application
We are in need for responsible 15-18 year old 4-Hers to serve as camp counselors for Camp Lakeside and Heart of Kansas Camps for 2020.
Camp Lakeside
Camp Lakeside will be held June 10-11, 2020. Camp Counselors will be responsible for youth ages 7-9 years old. This is a two day, one night camp. The cost to attend this camp is $80. Please fill out the following application and return it to the Finney County Extension Office no later than May 1, 2020.
Heart of Kansas Camp (Rock Springs)
The Heart of Kansas Camp will be held June 13-16, 2020. Camp Counselors will be responsible for youth in grades 3-8. Counselors will be able to give a preference of what age/grade youth they wish to be responsible for. Counselors will be in pairs. Counselors will leave on June 12th for counselor training. The cost to attend this camp is $240. Please fill out the following application and return it to the Finney County Extension Office no later than April 1, 2020.

4-H Campference: June 22-25, 2020
4-H Campference is for youth ages 12-14 (before January 1, 2020), and will be held at Rock Springs 4-H Center. Participants will experience the feel of a conference, while enjoying the 'camp' activities Rock Springs 4-H Center has to offer. This is a great transitional opportunity, as these tweens go from being a camper to attending educational conferences. 4-H Campference will feature workshops about opportunities in the 4-H program and how to better interact with others. Participants will meet other youth from around the state of Kansas.
